Located in the heart of Stickney, a near-west collar suburb of Chicago whose residents are a mix of working-class and middle-class, senior citizens and young families, of Eastern European descent and Hispanic heritage, and everything in between, Faith Community is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America and has a delightful mix of salt-of-the-earth people, some of whom live in the immediate neighborhood and walk to church, others who live throughout the city of Chicago and its suburbs, and still others who join us live-on-Zoom from throughout the U.S. and even as far away as Denmark.
People with a Ph.D. worship alongside others who struggled to finish high school, and 90-year-olds serve cooperatively with preschoolers.
We are committed to the Scriptures, rooted in our rich history, and called to serve the Stickney community and beyond in the name and with the unconditional love of God through Jesus.
